Thinking about starting, or already using one?

At Eastbourne Nutrition, we do not recommend, prescribe or supply GLP-1 medicines. Whether to start, change or stop a medicine is a decision for you and your qualified prescriber. If you are already using one, we welcome you and can support your everyday nutrition and routines alongside your clinical care.

GLP-1 medicines can reduce appetite. Eating less makes it especially important to get enough nourishment. Our focus is on supporting your wellbeing and habits, rather than chasing a number on the scales.

Think beyond weight alone

Weight loss can include both fat and muscle. Protecting muscle and maintaining a balanced diet are useful priorities during weight loss.

Protein supports muscle maintenance, and strength activity matters too. Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS guidance recommends strength-based exercise twice a week during weight loss. Choose activity that suits your ability and follow your healthcare team’s advice.

How our club can support you

  • Protein and balanced meals. Review your food diary and explore practical ways to include protein foods, alongside fruit, vegetables and other nutrients. A dietitian or clinician should set any personalised targets, especially if you have kidney disease or other medical needs.
  • Regular routines. Work on breakfast, meal planning and hydration habits that fit your life and any advice from your healthcare team.
  • A fuller picture of progress. Talk about energy, strength and everyday wellbeing. Optional club body-composition readings are estimates, not medical tests, and cannot guarantee muscle preservation.
  • People in your corner. Coaching check-ins and a welcoming community help you stay connected as you build habits.

No club plan or product can guarantee that all weight lost will be fat, or replace medical care. You do not need to use GLP-1 medicines to join the club.

Your prescriber remains part of your journey

Keep attending clinical reviews. Discuss side effects, difficulty eating or drinking, persistent weakness and medication questions with your prescriber. If you are considering stopping treatment, ask them about a longer-term plan; we can continue to support your routines and community connection.

NICE recommends diet, physical activity and behavioural support alongside weight-management medicines. Our club offers general wellbeing coaching, not a prescribing service or specialist medical treatment.
